Foundational to Christianity is the Gospel. Simply translated, gospel means, ‘Good News’. We have all been born into a fallen and cursed world. When we leave this world we will stand before a holy God to face judgement. God is altogether holy, righteous and just. We, in our natural state are far, far from holy. Were we to be judged by our own righteousness, of which there is none, we would fail. The only way that we can ever be in the presence of God is to be holy. The good news is that Jesus Christ has made this possible.

Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The Bible is the word of God given to all humanity. It is the truth about who we are, who God is and what His will is for us, His creation.
